Well, not quite, but it's the elephant's closest living relative, the rock hyrax.

Taken in the Serengeti with borrowed equipment, since both my cameras had broken down by this stage of the trip... the camera's owner was complaining, 'This camera must be broken - I can't get any good pictures!' and took out a point-and-shoot. Needless to say, I used his camera for the rest of the trip...

Canon 400D, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS, CPL
1/250s @ f/5.6, 194mm, ISO 200

It wasn't at a lodge - it was at a campsite on the western edge of the Serengeti.
