Hi!

I'm looking for a small compact camera, which will be waterproof for couple meters down the sea water (salty), which will record HD movies (GOOD QUALITY is first what i'm looking for!!).

Thanks!

I can't provide actual experience concerning underwater photography but my SD960 records in 720p HD. Waterproof cases (WP-DC32) are available. Good to 40m 130' ..

I was reading about the Kodak something-sport. It's 149 bucks, waterproof to 10 feet, and has excellent reviews.

Thank you. bw!

Olympus makes a waterproof p&s camera that has HD motion pics....Canon makes one waterproof camera, but no HD. (Powershot D10).

Plenty of other brands also make waterproof cameras (for snorkling depths).

I've never seen an underwater case for a small p&s camera, but that doesn't mean there's no such thing. Only cases I've seen are for dSLRs and cost far more than any p&s camera. They are also made for deeper depths (scuba diving)...

Plenty of info available with a quick Internet search - take a few minutes and maybe you'll find exactly what you are looking for...and get an idea of prices...I doubt anyone here knows off the top of their head everything that's out there..and the prices.

Good luck,
D.

Wow, what a nice picture! You must have a really great camera!

Yeah i'm interested in snorkling depth waterproof, not exactly a Canon, it can be anything, the main point is QUALITY of HD video. Okay thank you Delija, i'll try a search :)

Kodak Playsport. $149 and getting great reviews (except the mic--not great sound quality, but that's to be expected from just about everything).

Thank you. bw!
