We did an early easter egg hunt at home today. I have no clue about pix of my daughter. I am way too biased about the subject matter to critique my shots. Any CC would be greatly appreciated.

Tough to get face shots, as she was always looking down for eggs, but I thought 1 & 2 were decent. Her hair is a little whacky on 3, and I don't love the road in the background, but it really conveys her excitement I think.

The first two are out of focus, according to exif you are shooting at 1.8 which seems too narrow a DOF for a nice sunny day. You can get a blurry background with more in focus if you stop the lens down. are you shooting with a single focus point selected or allowing the camera to choose?

Lately I have been trying to stop lenses down a bit, but I seem to chase my tail with that at times. Didn't try today. I was shooting with a single focus point.

Thanks.
