I shot this last week at the old Govenor's Mansion. This was the first time I had a hairstylist, MUA, and fashion consultant. C&C if you'd like.

Thanks for looking :)

Nicely done - would have been great if you could have got more light onto the background. Go easy on the skin smoothing :)

4 is my favorite.
In my opinion on photos 1 and 6 her hair looks sharp but her face is out of focus or perhaps overprocessed.

Great work

Thanks for the comments everyone. I do agree with with the back lighting. I had brought a 3rd strobe and some gels; I easily could have done that.

Very nice set... I really like #3, but I find the light rays at the right distracting. #4 is another winner.

I like em but I agree with Rai33, lighting up the background would have been nice.

Thank you sir. I personally liked the flair. It's subjective but I appreciate your opinion.

Thanks. I cloned up the floor a lot in PP, it was a lot worse in the originals. The wind was 10-15 MPH so cleaning up the floor would have just gotten dirty again in 1 minute. Both of my assistants were holding the strobes from blowing away. I felt bad for the guy that had to hold the 64" PLM :(

I like both first and second one. You did a wonderful and awesome job on this photo shoot!! It looks like you are having fun on here and doing very well.

I appreciate it. Yes all of us had a great time, I wish the property people gave us more time to shoot. We only had 70 mins of shooting time.

I'll have to do that next time I shoot there. For sure :)

Thanks, I did look back at the originals and the eyes are sharp. It could be the color of her hair making it look sharper. I'll burn it and see if it helps.

(since you asked, Moss) :)
I'll nit pick here
To me these have everything to make some incredible images. Awesome location, awesome wardrobe and a beautiful model that looks like a Dysney character. These photos could have been up there with Annie Leibovitz's Dysney series. Really, no kidding.
But what killed them is your lack of experience and that's not really a bad thing. Experience can be gained.
I think the poses of the model are goofy, since she is having that cute grin going on on most of them. Smiling in a fairy tale setting is nice, but really this is not the kind of smiling... there's no mystery no these, or.. artistism if you will...
I won't go into technical details, because there are quite a few things that are a little off, but these are not doing it for me, because you couldve done so much here and I just don't see it.

lol

can't you tell I am watching American Idol? ;)
