A sign of Spring

Spring is here and so are some of the winter residents. Here's a shot of a Yellow-rumped Warbler (myrtle race) molting into his spring colors that I took yesterday. I'm a little surprised that I'm seeing these Warblers around still. Thanks for looking.

Could be a cousin to Ken's Mr. Scruffy! Nice capture, Brad.

I am surprised Myrtle isn't in full color yet... this is the first warbler that flies in here, usually the last part of April... nice shot Brad, good to see one again...

Thanks Dave, We have these guys all over the place in winter. It's unusual to see them in the molting phase. They are usually gone at this time.

Great shot Brad, I still had a few of these around here a couple of days ago. Wish they were here all year.

Thanks Sharon, I would like for them to stay all year also. They're pretty in their Spring plumage.
