That settled, the attempt at showing a sleeping child was unsuccessful to me because of the full clothing, the roses and the pose, IMHO. In my view, managed a large image and the largest directory of outraged many members of the picture

I could take a snapshot of my grandmother naked and it would invoke a lot of "emotion", but I'd hardly call it a success. Just sayin'.... but I DO understand your point. Sue Cassidy

It is just my opinion, like everyone is entitled to, and I just happened to not like the tone of the photo and I particularly hated the title. But if people like it, then so be it. One thing I have learned with photography is some people LOVE certain things while others hate them...it's part of the territory.... *If at first you don't succeed, shoot shoot again*

It was a sick thing to do, I see no other reason to throw roses over a sleeping child and then name this thread what the OP did without any further explaination. And then to wait so long to reply.

Props to the mod FOR censoring the image, because by censor I meant add a warning to the title so that people will be aware BEFORE they open it, what it could possibly be. It was a trick by the OP to be so vague. If the OP is looking for CC and I look at this picture from a purely technical point-of-view, it's bad. It's bad lighting, processing is overdone, and the composition doesn't work. It looks like a snapshot that was dropped in mud. I personally would have liked to see more light, less orange/blacks, and a lower perspective, shot from above the way it is probably is alot of what give it a funeral photo appearance. Also an appropriate title or description so that people understand you are trying to portray a sleeping angel, rather than a dead one. And what is "●●♥♥♥The departure of Angels♥♥♥●●" supposed to imply? Reminds me of the work of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep I went to a Paul Pierce seminar and at the end they gave the demonstration for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. There were approx 350 attendees at that seminar and there wasn't a dry eye left in the place. www.photosbyeric.smugmug.com
