Went to Yellowstone this past week. Heavy snow on Tuesday brought the wildlife back into near shooting range on Wednesday and Thursday. Got lucky to see 2 wolves of the Canyon pack howl and then meet up with a third member. 1D2N + EF 400mm f/5.6L.

Terrific pics. They look very relaxed and quite healthy. Nice to see some shots of the Park, can't wait to make my next trip.

Great shots and fortunately it looks likes the mange has not affected the Canyons. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing these.

Are you now able to drive to Canyon, or do you still have to do the snow coach/snowmobile thing?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

No, no bears this trip. Some of the roads in the Park open on 4/16 and then it's more likely I'll get to see one. There have been sightings but just not for me yet. :(

Nice shots. I can't wait til we go in June. I've never been this excited for a vacation.

I hope I can see/shoot some bears while we are there.
