don't think those wheels go with the car that well (look wrong/cheap) but nice car otherwise and nice photos.

Thanks for the comments. The wheels aren't really my cup of tea either, but they look much better than the stockers, he's planning on purchasing a more modern upgrade soon.

Nice TR & I'll bet the V8 makes it a lot of fun!

Knock-off wire wheels on an '80s sports car? That's Classic. What would you rather see on it?

Nice set. I like the third one also. I had a TR-7 for a few years, sold it when we had kids. I bet your Dad's car really moves with those engine mods!

theres tons of possibilities. To me the current wheels just don't go. They scream kitcar or replica or something.

Thanks for the comments! My Dad also had a TR7 coupe, in black which always left him wanting a TR8 with more gusto than the 4 banger could give.

I had the pleasure of driving the TR8 again today, we took it on Glooscap trail, which has some nice, winding twisties. The car has a very wide powerband, lots of torque on tap in any gear. I found myself downshifting just to hear the runoff then putting the hammer down coming out of the corners. It was my Wife's first time in a Convertible, she loved the ride but would grab my jacket each time I put my foot to the floor.

Fun day, I really need to get something of my own for these amazing roads:D.
