Hey guys im looking to get into off camera flash photography

Im think about getting RF602 transmitter with 2 receivers and two YN-460II

does that sound like a decent setup for someone that doesnt really want to break the bank.

are there other speedlites i should consider? any suggestions would be very highly appreciated

i kind of want a flash that would be useful on my hot shoe for just regular flash shots. any decent ones you can think of that i could ultimately replace with one of the yn-460IIs?

just making it clear a 580exII is totally out of the question for my broke ass haha

in addition to my lumopro's i have a 430exII...had that one first, before i even thought about OCF...that being said, with OCF, i cannot imagine using ETTL...the way i look at it, i use M on my camera so that i can control what the camera does...and i like to do the same with my flashes...i don't want to leave it up to the camera/flash to tell me what to get...

I've also started OCF and love the manual control on both camera and flash. ETTL is still useful in a fast paced environment.

yea i might get 1 yn-467 for when i shoot indoor basketball and other stuff like that with on camera flash and a 460II and then use them both for OCF work. figure it will be pretty effective and not too much strain on my wallet.

heard the 467 can actually keep up with the 430exII so if thats true that is pretty sweet

I am thinking of doing the same thing as you jcarp618, that being buying a yn 467, yn 460 mk II, tiggers, and umbrellas/mounts.
I am glad to see more people giving thumbs ups to the YN model flashes!
