A friend of mine loves B&W photography and lets me practice taking pictures of her (I'm pretty new to photography if you couldn't tell by my post count!). These were taken digitally and converted to black and white with some help from Nik Software's Silver Efx. Any C&C is welcome.

#1 has a lot of potential. I like tthe lighting and location, I'm not crazy about the position of the legs/feet. But cool spot!

I'll tell you what. I can't pose a subject to save my life! I am starting to get the hang of rock bands, but when it comes to shots like this, I'm rather clueless. Any suggestions on what I could with her feet in a similar situation?

I do like #1. I think it's interesting. I'd personally would have taken a few steps to the right and forward so that her feet weren't the closest thing to the camera, you know? Make her face the focus instead of the whole body.

It definitely is a cool spot!
