What bird is this?

This photo was taken at Plantation Preserve in Broward County FL.

That is a male red winged black bird. Nice shot.

Great shot, Tony. The RWBB can be tough to approach and tougher to expose properly.

Hi Tony. Many people have no idea what this bird is and simply can't place it as a female Red-winged Blackbird. But that's what this one is. Quite different from the male as you can see.

I probably saw the female but not no idea they were related. Thanks for the info.
