Very nice. The smile is natural, the lighting is wonderful. I loved my 5D. So sharp for portraits.

I agree, nice lighting good expression. Wasn't loving the striped shirt, but that's just me.

Framing is good, though bottom right is a little distracting.
Lighting is a little flat, and perhaps too warm - matter of taste.
Eyes are not sharp, which is a problem. Seems a touch front-focused.
Smile could perhaps be better - hard to say not knowing the subject.

Love this shot. Simple, great composition, terrific expression, even lighting, nice catchlights, great crop -- just a really nice shot of a boy at an age where it is hard to get that kind of comfortable, natural expression. Good work.

Thanks for the compliments, he's 12 years old but he's a natural so I won't take credit for his good expression. :)
