Shot today, 3 exposures processed through Photomatix!

I love my Sigma 10-20mm lol

Strong, almost stark placement of elements in the frame. Tree, tree, pentagon. Bang, bang, bang. With the road leading across. It works for me.

I like it, OP! But, don't thank the 10-20 for the shot! That was all you!

Though, for whatever reason, I just noticed that there is some sort of log looking like it's coming straight out of the house...

Actually, there's quite a bit in that scene. Those are deep winter shadows. :) First attempt too. Aren't you going to complain about the flare?

Sure did. The sun was right down on the deck, barely out of frame. That said, this was just an attempt to get one processed somewhat correctly, not an attempt at a showy photo. :)
