So glad to see the Swallows back but they are a challenge. It takes a lot of practice to get back into the IF mode as so many images, now in the trash bin, prove. The last one is of the juvenile RTH in a classic pose that I couldn't resist adding here for the last time. I've finally run out of pictures of this jewel.

Great collection, buddy. Glad you caught the inflight of the little blue rocket. My neck is still sore from trying.

This look familiar? People will start to think we are joined at the hip.

Lovely shots Joe... the whites in the swallow are exceptional, as well as the iridescence of the feathers.
The RWBB is pure joy, I can hear the song :) Of course the hawk is as beautiful as ever and is "icing on the series cake." ;) ( so is Harvey's RWBB )

These are some of the best Swallow shots I've seen here if not the best. An excellent series and the RTH is a beauty. Great job Joe.

Fantastic series....
I've tried capturing swallows but (at the time) was stuck with a 70-300 kit lens, so I truly know how fast those little beauties fly!!!
You've reminded me to have another go!
Thanks for posting such remarkable shots.
Regards,
Simon

Gorgeous shots Joe!! A fine job capturing the colors in all these birds. The first and last shots are my favorite of the bunch.

Great shooting!
