My images were shot handheld and there is some camera movement. What do I do? I am just now learning how to do this on gimp. I think I am doing it right, but when I paint or use the eraser to paint the layer on the background everything is off.

Perhaps you could post a sample and explain what you are trying to do.

From what I gather that you are trying to put multiple shots of the skater in one image. If this is the case then you can put each image in a separate layer and then mask out all but the skater. I am talking about photoshop as I don't do GIMP. I assume it should be similar.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

If you post up the pictures, or send me a link, I'd be happy to try my best to get you a good sequence shot.

If you post up the images there is plenty of people(including me) that could do it for you and post some screenshots. I have never used gimp but I could show you in photoshop.

I have done handheld sequence shots of snowboarders in the past, it's not too hard.
