This is honestly one of the best images I have ever seen taken with this lens. I absolutely love the tones, the side/back lighting & the absolutely perfect catch-light in her eyes.
This is absolutely stellar. Thank You for sharing!

hi guys, I'm a newbie on 85L ii and I really love the quality. But as far as I understand, we have to be so careful to focus @ f/1.2. In addition to this: I would love to hear if there are any tips and techniques or an e-book or a video to use this lens more versatile.

This shot was taken 5 days ago with 5D Mk iii

at short distances and @ F/1.2, try not to recompose but use outer AF points, if not possible, use the closest AF point and recompose. Using central AF and recompose can lead in not so sharp pictures (when I had 85mm, I use AF points and recompose of situation).
try to keep subject in perspective/parallel to have both eyes in focus.

Fair complexion and dark background made this one a perfect candidate for f/1.2.

It was suprisingly hard to shoot this lens at f/1.2 with the 5DII.. Cant wait to get my lens back from repair.
