very cool! got a setup shot?
These might make for cool texture overlays?
No setup up shot as I only have 1 camera (the horror!!). Basically take a clear container, put an inch or two of water in it and place the container on top of a piece holographic wrapping paper / card. Pour a few drops of olive oil onto the surface of the water and stir to break the blobs up into smaller sized blobs. Camera mounted lens down on tripod facing directly at the waters surface and off camera flash (various angles / positions give differnt colours / hues).

What lens could I use to achieve this?
Any macro lens but the higher the magnification the better, I used to use a Raynox DCR250 at 2.5x but I now have a MPe-65 and these were at about 3x mag but I've seen great results at 1:1
