Doesn't have to be a zoom. Doesn't have to be 2.8. Doesn't have to be Canon :D fisheye or uwa.

The best I can find is the 15mm fisheye.
Does the 8mm sigma fit the bill?

think you can throw the 12-24 sigma in the loop

Seems the Sigma 8mm circular fisheye is the widest. If you want a rectilinear UWA, the Sigma 12-24mm would fit the bill (and then some since it's so wide  )

There is a 4.5mm arround here somewhere.

That's for crop bodies.

There are loads of fisheyes that are wide. Sigma's 8 is actually closer to 10. There's the 15 FE, 17 TSE, Sigma 12-24 and the 14L. You can also use the Tokina 11-16 at 15 and 16 on Full frame and it will not hit your mirror or vignette.

If you don't need autofocus wait another month and Samyangs 14 mm will be out. If it's anything like their other optics, it'll be worth it.

Any pricing on this? Samyangs 14 mm

I was looking at that Russian fisheye lens that used an adapter also?

I found some WA Canon L lens that was for 1900-2000 dollars whoaa. I didn't know fisheye/UWA's can go for that much!

Well, the issue with UWAs is getting the corners as sharp as the center. It's hard to do on full frame...

The Samyang 14 is available for preorder on Ebay for 450. The pictures from the D700 and Samyang 14 for Nikon on Lenstip show that it's a pretty amazing piece of glass....just like their 85 1.4

hehe you guys forgot to mention Nikon 14-24 f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S
From what I've heard it's the sharpest UWA zoom available though you'll need an adapter. :D

:p sorry I am not interested in videography or at least not yet :p
Though I would guess 5Dmk2 produces more detailed photos because of it's higher resolution sensor :D
