First Business card - feedback

Hi,

I did this double side card. Like to hear opinions and frankly feedback of it.
Please, don't call me...it's not my number

I don't think putting someone else's number on your business card is a good idea

I don't mind the font your using for your name, but I don't like the font you're using for 'Motorsports Photography'. The font for your contact isn't that great either, IMO. I'd get a 'real' e-mail address and website too. Gmail and Smugmug accounts just doesn't say professional to me.

I don't find the gmail email address offensive at all. Major email companies are so common these days, people start looking at you weird if your email isn't something like @gmail.com. I honestly can't image something like John_Doe@John_Doe_Phot​o.com (INVALID EMAIL)... just weird IMO.

But the website is a different matter. You need a domain name. John_Doe.SmugMug.com is not very professional. People like www.John_Doe.com or just John_Doe.com theses days, any extraneous dots and such will just serve to confuse people.

It's about being professional, not offensive - get rid of gmail. If you get a domain name you should get an email with it, pretty simple. I still use my old yahoo email, but for professional manners you're getting an email from @fourseamimages.com

Also, unless you WANT to get sued by Ford understand you can't have their logo and use it in a commercial venture like on your business card - even the car (design) alone may be getting you in some legal trouble. You may want to look into that.

That font will be very hard to read on a card. Use something that's very easy to read quickly like Helvetica, Arial, or Minion.

Also, you don't need to write "e-mail, "tel" and "web" on there. Just makes it look more jumbled IMO.

The fonts are abit.. Hard to read. Maybe try something simple like Myraid?

Just my 2c... Since you have the front dedicated to be the photo and your logo, maybe you can omit the car picture from the back (contact info side) and make it easier to read. I agree with the other comments on your fonts being hard to read.

Another idea is:
At the front, move the car up and larger. Instead of whole logo, just have "By Peter Skog" at the bottom right. Then have the logo and contact info on the reverse side.

font choice isn't horrible...i've seen worse, but at least take off the bevel/emboss off of the font. you will grow tired of having a picture on your business card, especially the same one on both sides.

Front font is the same in name and "motosport photography", called Beware and it's become from www.eWRC.cz where they use it in photographers name.

I printed a test sample and this backside font is easy to read and see.. maybe i find a another one..

If i can't use any my own image where can identify cars brand.. have to think this totally another way.. (that was Ford test car)

Domain name, is .net acceptable? ( i am not doing this for "business", reason for cards is give information where can look images and contact if want to)

This "scene" is so difficult to make profit in here...

If the font was white it would look a lot better than the beveled effect you applied. I for one find that VERY cheesy. Try to make it more clean looking.

With both sides of the card being black, it's impossible for others to jot a note on the card. Many people write a reminder on the card of who you are, where they met you, maybe a note of when to followup about what.

The company I work with has black cards both sides, and numerous people (including me!) have found it annoying when they want to scribble something on the card.

Also, at the very least indicate the area in which you're located. Maybe you're assuming people will know, but it's not even obvious which country you're from. I shouldn't have to go to your website to figure that out.
