used to watch these things scream around the lake where I used to live in Dartmouth, NS.
was cool seeing a boat fly past with only the propeller in the water... and was even more cool watching them do 90 degree square turns at speed!!! ;)

you captured the esssence of the boat here... speeeeeed!!

Great shot. One of my favourite sports to photogrpah !. The drivers are madmen though :-) !!

Your panning technique is very well done. The boat looks underexposed to me though. It would seem the meter was fooled by the brightness of the water.
