the photos were shot with a 24-70 2.8 L @ 24mm (f/22, 1/250, iso 100) and the focus point is probably on the face. *scratching head*
i wonder if flickr degraded the photo quality?

The light on the jeans also helps it to look more in focus. There is more light on the jeans than the face. Also, maybe the lens needs micro adjusting...? or, it could very well be my eyes too. One tip you might want to look at is the where the light is hitting the subject. Looks like the light is hitting the subject in the mid section. Her pants seem to be more evenly lit then her face on the last 2.
