Second day with my new 350D. I'm loving this camera. It was really dark, and only street lights off in the distance, but I decided to just got at it in Manual mode. I'm already getting familiar with the controls since I just sit with it for hours on end. So, I got some learnin' to do. But, I'm having fun. :)

Not my car. But, maybe you can see the headlights on the Coronado Bay Bridge. This is where I'm stationed.

the floodlights gleam nicely on the first pic, maybe if it were a bit lighter, i'd pose a great pic :D
looks almost photoshopped. (thats a compliment not and insult, haha)

the second pic, the car doesn't look long enough, maybe because i can't see the front bar.

keep goin :D

The second shot is pretty cool, IMHO. :D
Not too sure about the white lights pointed into the lens on the first shot. Distracts me from the main subject (Caddy) too much. Maybe try that shot with marker lights only? Keep em coming. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

hehe.. I've also got one of these cars.. and have not taken any good pics of it like these yet. guess I am concentrating on the other guy's cars... :;

I like the lights on #1.. but see if you can find a cool skyline without the fences...
keep looking for more angles like #2..
.. and I'm sorry.. but if the caddy is in #3, you need a bigger zoom!!! (if it is on the bridge) ;)
(nice shot without the car...)

now i'm inspired.. so time to wash and wax.. :D

oh.. yes.. it is also a black mirror like the mustang!! (at least now I have some experience with that)

I did get a shot with only the parking lights. Didn't come out too well though. Maybe, I'll give it another try tonight.

Yes it doesn. Sadly, it had to be replaced. I blew a rod. I drive the car hard. I take it to the track. Oh well. I had another Northstar put in and it's running like a dream. The car itself has over 97,500 miles on it though.

Here's another pic. Dang light poles..

What road is that??? I was wanting a pic like that the other night, but didn't know a good spot where no one would be driving, walkin, etc.

you're pics are getting better... but see if you can adjust you depth of field so that the bg is not so sharp.. that should help take care of those pesky light poles!!!

Nice lighting on #9.

Dang light poles..

Don't blame the poles. It's not like you couldn't put the car anywhere you wanted. You didn't LOOK before you shot, so blame yourself. ;-)a

:D:D The cars do all the work! I just walk around & look for the right time to shoot. Sometimes I have to yell, "Hey! Get away from your car!" :D;)
