Hello all,

I am looking into getting a studio backdrop set up. I need something on the smaller side that is adjustable and has portability if needed. Right now I am going to be working out of my garage and need a recommendation on a budget priced backdrop stand setup and back drops. As far as the back drop goes I am looking to start off with probably just a roll of seamless white paper and maybe some muslin. I am just not sure what is good and what is junk as far as set ups go. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have been thinking about a backdrop too, and while I'd like a nice collapsable system I can only spend so much money right now. So, I think I am going to buy a white (external link) and black (external link) background, and build the support out of PVC. $20 sounds better right now than $150 for a frame.

Impact from B&H and Flashpint from Adorama both have a decent backdrop stand for around $99. Flip a coin.
