Wash a Domke gripper camera strap?

As per title, is it advisable? I got it a little sweaty today after shooting some sports.

Yes, they're washable. Don't worry about it. This is on your bag? Or one of the separate camera straps? If it's the bag, be very sure you've emptied all the pockets, including the back slim pocket and the one(s) in the flap. And if you're putting it into the washer, you might want to fasten the flap clips to the D rings on the back of the bag so they don't go banging against the drum as badly. Just use cool, not hot, water to minimize shrinkage (though even if it does shrink, it'll stretch back nicely) and wash a dark coloured bag separately from other laundry - the dye can wash out and discolour other things in the load.

Thanks for the help Jon- it's just a camera strap. I'll watch out for everything you said if I ever need to wash any Domke bags.

Oh, and just a follow up - lets say I hand wash it with warm water - I'd have to sun them dry instead of putting them in the dryer, right? I mean, with the embedded rubber there and all...

Nope - my navy Domke's never been through the wash. Nor have my black ones. But I've had the blue from it rub off onto my trousers . . .

Yep, I'd air-dry it. In Singapore, I guess you'd want to sun-dry it unless you have an air-conditioned room to hang it in. For that matter, if it's just the camera strap I'd probably just hand wash it in a basin.
