Nice shots ken, i've heard about herons in garden ponds but never seen it for myself, although one morning at about 6 there was a heron on our neighbours roof, and they dont even have a pond:lol:

impressive wingspan in #3! Nice to find a beauty like that hanging around the neighborhood! Good shots as always. #1 was a great portrait of a beautiful bird.
