Help, Need Lens Advice

Hey Everyone,

I need your advice. I'm a commercial/architectural photog./web designer. When not shooting for work, I'm trying to capture my kids/family. The kids are 4 and 1, so neither is sitting still for longer than a few seconds.

For a while now, I've been considering getting the new 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II USM, but i simply dont have the cash at the moment. I do however have a few lenses I could sell, but am not sure whether I should. Here's the inventory:

Body: Canon 5D MK II

[Work Lenses: Not for Sale]
TS-E 17mm L
TS-E 24mm L II
EF 24-70 f/2.8 L

[Personal Lenses: Possibly For Sale]
EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM
EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM
EF 135mm f/2 L USM

First off, I absolutely love each and every piece... which is what is making this decision so difficult. My thoughts were to possibly sell both the 85 & the 135. What do you guys think, is that crazy? Is the new 70-200 worth giving up the low-light legendary performance of both the 85 & the 135? I simply can't decide. Again, I am using these to capture the evolution of my family.. and while low-light is often an issue, it's difficult to use primes with little kids, because they are constantly on the move... which means that I have to be on the move. I'm thinking with the zoom, it'd be a little easier to get the job done.. but on the other hand, I'd be out the ultra low-light/razor-sharp DOF that you get with both the 85 & the 135.

Again, I'm on a full-frame body...I sometimes also feel that having both the 50 & the 85 is a little redundant, but I really like the focal length of the 50 better... I just think it suits me more. While the 85 is an amazing piece that I dont want to easily part with, sometimes I find it's a bit close for me.

Uggg
Decisions Decisions.

If I unloaded the 85 & the 135, I'd have the 24-70 f/2.8, 50 f/1.2, and the 70-200 f/2.8 -- which I think would pretty much cover the gamut.

Anybody have any thoughts??

I would never give up the fast primes for a zoom, in fact I sold my 70-200 2.8 for the 135. You have a 5DII you could always crop the shots and still have excellent photos for the family.

Some people are zoom folks, some people are prime folks. I personally say having a 24-70, 50 1.2 and a 70-200 f2.8 is better than having the 85 and the 135, but others will disagree. It really depends what you like.
