I once went on a rugby tour with the Honorable Artillery Company as a guest player. We were playing a team made up from employes at a steelworks in South Wales.

As we went down for the firs scrum, our hooker (it's a position not an occupation) a futures trader in the city said to the opposing 8 players in the scrum "Do you know, I paid more in tax than you lot earned last year". The game was very lively after that :-)

(This is my random story that was too long long to put on facebook  )

I was at the eye doctor yesterday and he very seriously told me about this build up of cells that I have on my eyelid. "Don't worry it's not cancer." (Thanks for comforting me about something that never crossed my mind!)

Then he told me all about how I can get them CUT OFF, but it would be a bloody procedure. GROSS!! He wrote down the name for me and that was that.

So very confused and wondering if this has any correlation with the new astigmatism I have and worsening vision in that eye, I look it up.

It was just the stinking mole like thing I have on my eye that I've had since I can remember!! NO I'm not going to get it bloodily cut off *rolls non cancerous eyes*

Well, that means you can start depreciating your gear . . .

Which is how I'm actually making money. My income was about $500 over my outgo....but the tax man won't write off all of the gear expense at once....it goes on a depreciation schedule....so I end up making more because of it. Oh, well.

2010 is looking to be brutal. I've actually got business so my income is going to skyrocket.

I'm begining to wonder if photographt is hazardous to the eyes with all the eye problems in this thread lately.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Well, I slept for exactly 1 1/2 hours, and I'm back at the computer. Apparently none of you were impressed with my Tippi Hedren story. I guess it's probably not a story that generates a lot of interest. I guess it's not wise to inject a non-sequitur in the midst of a discussion on purple pumps. My bad.

LOL! I didn't know who Tippi Heren is. I have since googled it.

Cat, you need to send those pictures and the story to all the papers. Get more interest stirred up for not only H.A.R.T. but the many rescues that depend on donations. Not to mention that we all need to see stories of the good things kids do everywhere.

Good idea!

CAT just watched the videos. Did Cisco remember you? And Aimee lov'n the attention, awwww. LOL at "my foot is stuck".

 It was a great day!

I thought I was joining the dodgy eye club over the last few days but this morning I worked out that I have not changed my contact lenses for 2 moths and they are only meant to be in for a month. :-(
