Thanks D. I am doing nothing tomorrow, have extra bodies, and Canon will get it back to me in 3 days if it needs to go in, so I should be covered.
Good deal....
You know I was brutally honest on that thing and I wound up at level 1, so I'm not all that confident in it.
LOL, yeah, ditto that, except I wound up in Purgatory.
Ok, I know you probably get tired of watching our videos, but you have to watch this one, LOL.
Lita is so freaking cute.
And I LOVE Cisco's attitude when Wade tells him to leave it. LOL!!!

lol, that is pretty cute.
How about a couple sunny yeller ones?

Love this one...another metallic candidate.
I just took the dogs out for the last of the evening potty breaks. There is no wind. It's sooooooo quiet!!! Gives me the heeby jeebies! I feel like something is watching me.
Probably more than one something dude... lol!
Pretty funny stuff.
GilJohn, that's looking REALLY nice!
Yep, that physical labour stuff worked for me. It is looking good, and it looks like you should have a fairly easy day of it today, you got all the hard stuff done. I find getting the base set and the first row of stones in takes the most work. I kinda wish I had used a manufactured stone in my front yard. That natural stuff does not stack near as well.
No, it does not. Tis kinda frustrating when you're a bit OCD about things like that...
Lots of blue flahrs on today's walk.

SO pretty!
Had a cold day at a Junior One Day Event. My 12 year old Nephew William was competing with two horses (not at the same time) which meant two dresage, two show jumping and two cross country events. I did not get a chance to take any pictures on his first pony but this is Ellie she is an amazing 4 year old mare (yes Zane just 4 years old).
I have never seen such a steady and calm 4 year old, her future is very promising.
OK here is a One Day Event Rant.
We have had several dry days but last night we had some rain which made everything a little slippery so here are the studs being screwed into the shoes.
The first event is Dressage, not the most exciting event to photograph but a great event to watch as it demonstrates excellent subtle control.

The second event is the Show Jumping

There are some more pictures HERE
I had a very interesting encounter with "The Event Photographer". I was standing with the camera to my eye as William was aproaching one of the CC fences when I heard a voice saying "Can you tell me who you are photographing for?"
Ellie is a beautiful mare, and you've got a very handsome nephew as well!
oh I forgot...I was talking with the event videographer. He just bought a regular camera...canon something (not a model I was familiar with...I was trying to teach him how to use it...lol) but the good part was that he's got connections with the association and now he's got my card.
Woohoo! That's always a good thing, getting your name out there.
they were setting off ground charges too...right by the fences so it would be like a canon went off...then the ground charge would go off then people would go down. I never got any of those moments sadly but it was cool.
Oh wow, that would probably be pretty wild.
They are having a blast....the dogs love kids....as Diane can attest.
Yes they do, they were completely mellow from the moment they stepped out of the RV (btw Wool, I can't find any damage to the wall, lol) and were VERY patient with the kids.
Evening all. I'm up to my eyeballs in processing and glad for it. The gala went off without a hitch, although I haven't looked at the images yet, and yesterday's baseball games were good as well. Should be fun to see what all this weekend holds...I know there's a family shoot on Sunday and baseball on Saturday....

xx
I have a 20D and 30D and I left them home so I had to shoot with one camera today. Gah.
