Good Morning

Jim, could it be the steroids making you sleep more?

I haven't been doing the steroids for a week now, just for the first week.

Um... we have a sheep....

Oh yeah....:o
The dispositions of the two are quite different though, you can see my missing that, right?

No, it does not. Tis kinda frustrating when you're a bit OCD about things like that... .

It shows, doesn't it? :D

It was a really great moment for the two of us. He hugged me, and said he was proud of me. I don't think he's ever EVER uttered those words before. EVER.

Very nice, Cat.

Oh, LOL! Wade got the video uploaded already. How fun.

Since I said that I'd share, here ya go.
This is just the clip with me... I'm sure he'll have LOTS more uploaded over the next couple days.

You did really great, Cat. :D
But I gotta ask, is a "hurricun" anything like what we refer to as a "hurricane"? ;) :p

Hi Di, isn't every day a good day for nap?
I will need one, a short sleep for me too, only 4 hours for me last night.

That's how much I had as well Jim, but I'm guessing for different reasons. Sorry you had so little...but yes, pretty much every day is a good day for a nap, lol!! I like the way you think. Especially if you have someone to snuggle during said nap.

And LOL to the OCD about the stones, I was actually referring to myself, heehee!

Gonna be spending the day finishing the wall. It's coming along nicely but boy those bricks are heavy. Probably moved over 10,000 pounds of rock yesterday and my bones are feeling it.

Looks real good, JJ. Did you "Git er done?"

Had a cold day at a Junior One Day Event. My 12 year old Nephew William was competing with two horses (not at the same time) which meant two dresage, two show jumping and two cross country events. I did not get a chance to take any pictures on his first pony but this is Ellie she is an amazing 4 year old mare (yes Zane just 4 years old).

The mare and your nephew look fabulous. Nice handling of the event photog too.

Ok, lederhosen and BBQ aside....

My older brother came to the event tonight. That's out of character for him. I've seen him more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the whole last year. (and we live in the same town).

Anyway..

He said that before tonight, he thought I was whacked (LOL!) and crazy. That I was some sort of animal nut, and that I needed to have my head examined for having so many dogs at my house.
He said that after being there tonight, and seeing what it's all about, and seeing what we do, that he 'gets it' now. And he started crying.

It was a really great moment for the two of us. He hugged me, and said he was proud of me. I don't think he's ever EVER uttered those words before. EVER.

Wow, that is fantastic. *dabs leaky eye and wipes snot nose on Dragon scale*

The news on the numbers is good too. But above is priceless.

G'MAE all. Scarce time yet again. Will try to pop in while PP the senior from Saturday. Have potentially 4 more to do this month as well as 2 shows and a dance recital. Add in Mother's Day, a niece and nephew graduating from college, special photography presentation we are attending, I'm giving this month's club meeting presentation, and we are hosting the end of the year choir party. I think we'll be crashed on Memorial Day. Gives us time to rest up for the first weekend in June, Life Celebration service for SD, followed by a week with Aiden.:D
