We broke down and got a new pup from the pound. I'll have pics when I can get on the other computer.

I thought you guys were exploring the possibility of reuniting with Cisco. Did I miss something, again?

You didn't miss anything. It's been really hard but Cisco really needs to be in a home as an only dog. HART is working to find a home that he fits better. I miss that dog every minute.

Ok, lederhosen and BBQ aside....

My older brother came to the event tonight. That's out of character for him. I've seen him more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the whole last year. (and we live in the same town).

Anyway..

He said that before tonight, he thought I was whacked (LOL!) and crazy. That I was some sort of animal nut, and that I needed to have my head examined for having so many dogs at my house.
He said that after being there tonight, and seeing what it's all about, and seeing what we do, that he 'gets it' now. And he started crying.

It was a really great moment for the two of us. He hugged me, and said he was proud of me. I don't think he's ever EVER uttered those words before. EVER.

Awwwwwwwwww!!!!!!! Sounds like he REALLY gets it Cat! that is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cfpackerfan wrote in post #10110597 (external link)
I had to give a speech. I do NOT do public speaking AT ALL. It scares the crap out of me, and I get so nervous.
I made it through, and I only peed a little.

Hope you were wearing depends! ROFL

Oh, LOL! Wade got the video uploaded already. How fun.

Since I said that I'd share, here ya go.
This is just the clip with me... I'm sure he'll have LOTS more uploaded over the next couple days.

You did FABULOUS Cat!!!!!

short5 wrote in post #10110756 (external link)
You did great! Not a stutter, flub, or, bad moment. You can tell you were speaking from the heart, well done.

Yeah that too^^^

< < < Glad BBQ isn't soft enough for me to eat right now.;)

You sound like me.... I'm only eating soups and soft foods... Owww

You did great.....sounded pretty darn polished to me, not to mention heart-felt and sincere!

Thanks Permie.....I am digging the CW shots too....super nice processing on the....seems our mouse is revitalized!

Listening to the rain on the roof of the RV is so relaxing.....I love it. Company is cool too....but you won't get coffee here unless you bring your own!

Love listening to the rain... don't drink coffee... LOL I'd fit right in... my guess is that ya'll have pepsi though! And MAYBE a Dr. Pepper or two around! ;)

We are working on it. I figure Chris will just hear a knock on the door, look out, and I will be standing there with like 8 suitcases and a house plant.

AND the dotted one right?!?!?!

short5 wrote in post #10114173 (external link)
Lol, Leyla is the same. She was telling me about how unbelievably much sugar some guy was putting in his coffee as she was making hers. I told her he was telling his wife about the crazy lady he saw putting so much cream in her coffee.

giggle I miss you, Leyla and the Dotted one!!!

And all that other stuff I missed? Well, choose from the selection below:
  • Wow, that's incredible!
  • I wholeheartedly agree.
  • Beautiful!
  • Really? I'm shocked!
  • That's so nice.
  • Oh no! I hope it goes well for you!
That should cover it. ;)

So others aren't confused, the preceding statements were:
  • I can open beer bottles with my nostrils
  • I am probably the nicest guy on the whole forum
  • What do you think of me in an apron?
  • People say I talk funny
  • I just cut the cheese
  • I was going to jump off a cliff

I keep running out of people who can come in and talk to me during the
MRI process, my husband has a stent, my mother has a fake hip, only my brothers are left and they are no fun!!

I'd come talk to you.... and not throw anything at you! LOL I'm just not close enough! I've had one MRI... and it never bothered me... I found it quite peaceful with my earplugs in LOL

G'MAE ya'll! Long first day back at work... seems I'm having massive headaches since having my teeth removed... The more I'm up and about the worse they get. Today I spent my day with 3 of my committee members while we sorted through 4 different spreadsheets to make the room assignements for the conference that is coming up later in May... GAH! So to say my headache was bad... is an understatement... So I came home and took a nap...

Now I'm caught up here! In time to go to bed!
