I never went to kindergarten. I went right into first grade.

I went to kindergarten twice. Not cuz I'm dumb... My grandmother was the janitor and my mother was busy on the farm. So, grandma was able to take me to work with her and they let me hang out in kindergarten. I went when I was 4 and 5. Nowadays they have preschool for that age group. Back then in a little farm town they didn't have such things.

I think my train photos ended up being more of a textures event.

Not sure I see how that was a bad thing.... ;)

I just saw a email stating one way flights on jet blue for 10 bucks so I looked , could go to portland one way from NYC ,10 bucks .

Nice, that would be fun. Hitchhiking home?

Cool!!! Where was it?

^^ See above.

It looks like all 14 dogs that were accepted at HWAC have been adopted already. Some of them never even made it to the website under adoptable dogs.
See? That is why we make the trip there once a month. That is an amazing number, and one that would be near impossible for us.

*waves* hi everyone.

That's really neat!

Cute Harm. Diane should recognize the spot also.

That is great that you found them. Where were they?

^^ ;) And yep, I recognize the spot...I believe I got a little wet right around that area...

Love the little hula gal on the dash!!

Is that a pilot thing, or because Puddle has watched Madagascar too often? ;)

I'm sorry that I haven't been participating much.
I have some time here and there, but then feel bad because I don't have time to MMQ or join in, but then I want to tell you all something, but then I feel bad because I haven't commented on everyone else's posts, so I don't say anything, but THEN I miss you all and want to tell you exciting stuff! But then I feel bad about not participating more.

LOL.

I'm a mess.

And on THAT note, I wanted to share that Aspen has been officially adopted. Her new name is Mollie. :)

AND Axl (one of the little pups we were fostering) was on the news yesterday morning.

AND, Trisha from HWAC commented on my Starfish Journal to tell us about it! (That really surprised me! LOL.)

Diane, that is SO great for you!

Lisa, I've really been enjoying your scans! SO interesting.

Harm, nice to see you!

It's insane how many batteries I have to charge before a trip!

Start (now I tell you) a week in advance. And have multiple chargers at home. I can charge 5-6 BP511s, 2 LP-E6s, 2 LP-E4s, and a couple of dozen AAs at once if I pull out all the stops.

It's insane how many chargers I bring on a trip. My camera bag must look like a bomb techs nightmare on the xray machine at the airport. I have so many wires, batteries, and assorted electrical devices in there.

Plus USB cables, extension cords, and the like.

Check into "boarding fees", checked bag fees and the like . . .

And some things (external link) that don't have wheels...

Won't happen. No room for the stickers...

Cool!!! Where was it?

Why aren't I surprised?

They'll add fins and spoilers - plus the fireproof coveralls. They'll manage.

She didn't see the TSA agent slip it in with She Who Must Not Be Named's things.

*waves* hi everyone.

So, they cherry-pick the offers and leave the tough cases for you. Yeah, it's great, but they could loosen up their standards and still place everything they get. </cynicism>
