I think we are all trying to improve the fit right now. The wife is on a work out regime again. Today her legs are so sore she had me rub some of that cooling lotion on them. Now she is under the covers in PJ's with wool sock and the space heater blowing on her. All this and it was 80f here today.

I ran today. Like, because I WANTED to. I had given up on it, quite a while back, due to shin issues. An aquaintance convinced me that I should give it a go again and provided me with some tips to overcome said issues.

I will say that my shins do not hurt. My thighs, however, are a throbbing mass of 'you stupid b****!!! WTH were you THINKING?!?'

Have you gone to a really good running store for shoes? I mean someplace were all the employees are anorexic and seem to live for runners high. A good salesperson will be able to look at your gait and get you shoes that will help your shins and knees.

And who says I'm not sucking in a big old beer gut as we speak.

For you rodeo buffs/shooters, if you ever wonder how the riders start training, HERE you go. BTW as an EMT when I lived in Wyoming (former life) we took a few kids into the ER after a ride like this. This one is smart, he has a helmet.
