This was a young GBH I believe, and a little lost. They normally are not this far north, but we were happy to see him/her none the less.

Very nice shots. But these guys are not worried so much about cold. They stay around here until all the water is frozen over. I have seen them standing on ice near an open hole, looing for fish, in December, and before the ice melts in February. If they can find food, they will stay. :)
