This was a young GBH I believe, and a little lost. They normally are not this far north, but we were happy to see him/her none the less.

I have seen them standing on ice near an open hole, looing for fish, in December, and before the ice melts in February. If they can find food, they will stay. Mitch- ____...^.^...____
