Newborn/Children Photography. What path to take to be one?

Hi there!

I am a mother of 2kids under 3, and right now I practice taking pics with them. I'd like to learn more and improve my skills so I can eventually offer my services. I'd like to specialize only in Newborn and Children photography.

Tho those who have experience in this field... Any tips, comments, suggestions, whatsoever?

and share your images to get some quality critique.
share with people on serious forums.
not just your family and friends.
make sure you have a strong knowledge of how and why your camera works the way it does.
turn your flash off. shoot in manual.
shoot some more!
