Hoping you guys can help me. I just can't seem to get my camera to truly focus. This was taken on tripod, with timer, so shouldn't be any camera shake. Any tips?

hqqns When the frick did I get this new title and why? More info | Apr 08, 2010 01:49 | #2 It looks focused to me in the centre where I assume you focused.... you can see her pores are very well defined. Perhaps you want more DOF and need to close your apperture. subby

Her left eye just looks out of focus to me. Thanks though guys ![]() What aperture did you use? If you used a narrow aperture, then her left eye falls outside the focal plane and will be OOF. Take a look at a Depth of Field chart and that will shed some light on things. There is nothing wrong w/ focus in this picture. Keep in mind that the wider the aperture, the more shallow the DoF will be and there will be less room for error. Kevin
