Quick question about DPP.

I'm cleaning out my library to make room for some much more worthwhile shots and my computer told me my start up disk was almost full and halted the import process from my camera to my computer. I use a Mac Powerbook G4. I'm deleting tons of pictures, sometimes wiping out whole folders with hundreds of shots of just me experimenting with different settings. Will selecting the images and deleting them through the software erase them from my hard drive? Or do I need to go to a library folder or something along those lines and do it that way?

DPP doesn't use a "library". The way you're doing it is fine.

Deleting doesn't remove the files. It removes them from Finder and makes it possible for the OS to write over them. Thus as you save new files you will be destroying the old ones.
