setting custom white balance issues

I really do not know what is going on. I keep trying to set my CWB and every time I do, the pictures come out with a weird haze, today it was blue. I am taking a picture of a white board to set It is in the same light that I am using to shoot.

I would love to post pics, but I can't seem to get it right to get them to post here and I guess no one likes to follow links to my flicker ;-)a

Thoughts on what is going on?

I for some reason can not get pictures to post here despite following everyones directions. I will work on it again tomorrow. If not I might have to just put them on my flickr.
