I know the canon 10-22 starts around $300 (just looked for wide angles to fit canons on ebay)
is there any alternatives for cheaper wide angle lenses?
Or will i have to drop $300 no matter what?

If you're looking to go wide, 10-22 is probably your only choice in the canon line for your 20D. There's plenty of 3rd party lenses to choose from though

Thats prolly the cheapest option. Will | WilliamLiuPhotography.com

If 18mm isn't wide enough, take multiple shots and stitch together in Photoshop or some other program. I know Microsoft has a free one: http://research.microsoft.com …m/redmond/groups/ivm/ice/ Will | WilliamLiuPhotography.com
