Hello all...long time no post. It was a very quiet winter here in Ottawa with not much to venture out and photograph, but spring has finally arrived and migration is back on with a few birds showing up here and there...I was lucky enough to stumble upon this guy fishing

A Cooper's Hawk was spotted at the local photographers haven (Mud lake) and patience pays off again when she finally came down to eye level after sitting up in the treetops for what seemed like weeks.

WOW Jim, you haven't lost your touch. That fish in the air is very cool, excellent timing on that one. Great looking hawk shot. I'm sure glad winter is over too! Looking forward to whatever you post!
