Thanks everyone for their encouraging feedback.

I find the 7D an excellent camera for BIF shots, it's autofocus and autofocus tracking is so good.
With my 200mmm f2.8 lens, I normally shoot with a 1.4TC in conditions like this, but as the kites were flying quite low, I took a gamble and removed the TC to gain a little more control over autofocus, luckily the kite flew quite close, I only got the one chance, and this is the outcome, which I'm well pleased with :)
