Need help with blemish removal tips...

I just did a senior shoot for a friend. He has major acne and scars, normally my paint shop x2 does a good job but Im not sure it's gonna cut it this time. Know of any free programs I could use or any tips on how to go about removing it better? I can post an example if it helps.

Sorry, I just saw your post! Here is the thread where I posted an original and my try. Feel free to work on it your self, Id love to see how you do it. Im a newbie at processing and only have paint shop pro and picasa.
