I've got a few from here: http://www.apple.com …re/resources/plugins.html (external link)

The only problem is, that since upgrading to Aperture 3, many of the plugins have yet to be upgraded to 64 bit compatible. So if you run Aperture 3 in 64 bit mode, you have to restart it in 32 bit mode every time you want to use the plugin. So far there are few benefits to running A3 in 64-bit mode, so you can set it to run as 32-bit straight from the get-go by right clicking on the icon in Applications --> Get info --> selecting "32-bit" mode.

Hope that helps! I find the BorderFX plugin to be handy for adding simple edges to images when I export them, along with a watermark.

I haven't used any plugins yet with Aperture 3, but I am going to download Hydra for doing HDR/stacking.

Plugins or presets?

I've installed a ton of presets from the above links with some great results.

Plugins, I'm using BorderFX to put my watermark on - and since A3, not bothering with the Facebook export or Flickr export plugins.

Can you share an example of your watermark with that plug in?

Sure, it's extremely simple - just a URL. The only reason I go this route is so I don't have to make a gif or other type of watermark - BorderFX has consistent sizing and placement of my watermark.

Doesn't A3 have built in support for water mark files though?
Maybe I'm confused on what your water mark is when you say URL? I mean its still an image file somewhere right? I've never created a watermark so I don't know exactly how they work.
But isn't it just an image file stored somewhere, either locally on the hard drive, or a URL on a web site? Either way you have to manage some image file right?

Traditionally yes, a watermark is an image (some kind of logo or similar), and Aperture can handle them entirely natively.

I don't have a logo, but still wanted to watermark my photo - I was using BorderFX to add a border *and* the logo, but the border eventually just got removed and I stayed with the logo this way.

Gotcha, I see. Thanks. I didn't care for that plug in, I'm thinking about the onOne PhotoFrame plug in for borders, I love the messy look, and will play with a watermark/logo once I decide what I want to call my work/business.

Please report back how you like that plugin, it's something I want to do also, but couldn't justify it's price tag :(

I haven't been able to yet either, and I'm waiting for them to release the 64 bit Aperture 3 versions anyway.
