Legislative Building - HDR

Figured I would note in the title it was HDR, since some folks don't care for this type of photography. I tried to keep the saturation down so it didn't look to over the top, but did bump up the tonal contrasts a bit to get a bit of a lithograph feel to the image (hope I didn't go too far). Dodged and burned around the pillars and in shadowed areas to offset the HDR flatness.

this image was taken at our Provincial Legislative building (same as a State Capital building in the USA)

Image was taken with a 40D and Sigma 10-20mm. 3 bracket shot -2, 0, +2. Photo combined in Photomatix 3, then tonal contrasting, dodge and burn in Photoshop CS3.

Love the symmetry and editing of this shot.. Could probably do with just a little less HDR cooking, but not much..

Well done to my tastes..!!

Good job on the HDR! Looks about as believable as possible. Great shot as well, the stonework is really cool.

I think the HDR is too overcooked, but I love the composition.
