I've never used FxIF so I don't know how it compares, since you say it doesn't show enough info.

I used it until Firefox upgraded to version 3.6, at which point it wasn't compatible and I had to switch to FxIF, which I didn't like near as well. Exif Viewer has now been upgraded and works with 3.6, so I switched back to it.
