Little red ants

First time I've ever used the mp-e65. What a hard lens to use, but when you can get it focused, man is it ever sharp! Here are a few I liked, all shot on a 5Dmk2 with my makeshift macro flash setup. Thanks for the info Lord V

Nice captures....nice translucent colors on the ants.

Good ones- interesting ants- very small eyes- look a bit like meadow ants we get here which tend to spend most of their life underground.

Ya, I found them under a rock actually, strange little ants but terrific colours on them.
