Doug's 78 Firebird is running an .030" over 455 engine at 10.5:1 compression. Holly carb; Edelbrock 'performance' cam; 400 Turbo trans; 10-bolt 4.10 rear end; 3-1/2" Flowmaster exhaust.

It looked too deep to be just a fan motor. I just wasn't sure that it was also the water pump. On our LT1(?) motors we had a camshaft driven water pump. Must be some sort of divider where the impeller used to be to properly route the fluid. Nice set up. Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
