Shot my girlfriend this afternoon with my new
Canon ef 70-200mm 2.8 IS II! I'm very impressed with the sharpness, colors and contrast this lens delivers!
The second one has no sharpening, no pp, only autoWB in aperture

I like the first picture well enough, but you seem to have pushed the contrast a bit far and the skin tones on her face have pretty much gone. I love the contrasty b&w treatment most times, but I don't quite think it works as well here. In the colour pic the tones hold up a little better, but being further away they play a smaller part in the oveerall scheme of things. Growing old disgracefully!
