I've been looking for a good travel/general purpose tripod that is of decent quality, can maintain stability with 2.5kg plus and is around 150-200 USD.
I can't decide between either the Benro 069 or 169 or the Velbon Luxi M or L version. They both seem to be comparable but there are more reviews of the Benro than the Velbons so just wanted to get peoples opinions?
The Benros do seems like they are a bit more heavy duty and could hold more weight with less vibration. The legs seem to be slightly thicker in most cases.
The Velbons are slighlty shorter as well so that is a positive for them.
