We still have Juncos to let around here. I know this shot doesn't meet "artistic" guidelines and tastes, but images of wildlife in their natural habitat appeals to me and I liked the pose of this little fellow too. Thought I'd share.

The perspective has more to do with terrain and position than anything else. The Junco was at the top of a small knoll and I was at the bottom. Paul_R_Canada wrote in post #9974030 Very nice, what did you use the 300 and tc? Actually, I had the good fortune of "obtaining" a relatively new 400L f/5.6 a month or two ago at a great price. Fellow at work thought he would like wildlife photography. He didn't. And then "had" to liquidate his investment. Couldn't pass up the price!!! And that is the lens I used to capture this image. Thanks for the compliment too. artyman wrote in post #9974626 Nice shot Thanks Ken. Dave,

Good for you David and for the excellent photograph as well. BTW - we still have a few here too. Not for long though. http://joenoordman.smugmug.com/
