It might be the same one I shot last year.. it's about 200 yards from the tree I saw a porcupine in last year.. and still with only the 70-300 I don't have enough lens to really get the best shot...

With last year's shot(s) mentioning use of a 'better beamer' which I still don't have.. I decided to just blow out the tree branches a bit to lighten to porcupine better than what I got last spring. Nothing I can do about all the branches... I actually completely circled it looking for a clearing but never found a better spot than where I first saw it. I thought it was actually going to climb down the tree at one point and really would have liked to get a shot of it climbing.
